Training Courses
Indulgence Training is based in Ogwell, Newton Abbot, South Devon and offers Beauty Therapy & Holistic Therapy Training. Offering one to one training or in small groups within a small, well equipped salon that allows for individual training and support. Indulgence training offers continued support after the course is complete.
Rebecca Watson is a highly qualified professional therapist with over 20 years’ experience with in the industry. This is supported by an additional 3 years within the training industry whilst continuing to operate a successful Therapy business. Rebecca is enthusiastic about offering her expertise to like minded people who wish to join the industry.
Rebecca works in conjunction with the Guild Beauty Training; offering GTi Courses. Courses are a combination of practical sessions and online theory and lead to a GTi certificate in the course taken. In addition to the ability to undertake this work professionally this will allow you to take out Professional Liability insurance cover through the Beauty Guild
The practical sessions are at Indulgence Training in Newton Abbot. Some of the courses may require students to undertake case studies depending on experience and knowledge. All practical sessions will require Students to wear uniform, models will need to be provided by students (unless otherwise arranged with the Trainer). All products will be provided for the practical sessions. Some additional kits can be provided at an extra cost please enquire for more details. If students require extra training to complete the course then additional fees may apply.
All courses require students to have completed The Professional Standards for Therapists however this is included in some courses. We are happy to advise if it is included or you can check with the Beauty Guild.
Rebecca’s qualifications include NVQ 2 & 3 Beauty Therapy, Remedial Massage Diploma, Indian Head Massage, Reflexology, Hot Stone Massage and Hopi Ear Candles. ITEC Sports Massage, Advanced Waxing. Eyelash Extensions and Lash lift. Rebecca undertakes continuous personal development in training and best practice and has had further training in several therapies including; Massage Techniques, Aromatherapy and Skin Care.
Each course will require a theory element to be completed online before beginning the practical element. These cost an additional £25.00 payable directly to the Beauty Guild; this cost is in addition to the course prices quoted. These can be completed in your own time and practical sessions can be booked on successful completion. All theory hours are an estimated time. All courses cover the relevant theory, health and safety, reception, treatment & aftercare. Practical sessions are an estimated number of hours which may vary based on the ability and previous experience of the therapist. Some courses may require Case Studies.
